What is IELTS?

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. That is an arrangement built basically to analyze the English proficiency of people who want to study or work in the countries where English is considered as the foremost language for communication.

Also, as per IELTS aspects, there are nine-band levels. According to this, a user scores from beginner (band score 1) to the veteran (band score 9).

Academic IELTS

The academic IELTS test is basically designed for people looking for academic endeavors in the English dominant ecosystem. So, as per this specific test, you will get assessed whether you are ready for further training or not.

General Training IELTS

IELTS General is basically developed for people, who are already skilled in English and want to immigrate abroad for work.

So, when it comes to the differences between IELTS Academic and General, the main thing that makes a change is the syllabus. In Academic IELTS, test topics are quite wide as per anyone who’s applying or wanting admission to the university. However, General Training IELTS is more about the generalized preferences of the candidate.
